The games can run on modern computers using the following instructions, thus no re-writing of game code is necessary (though the A.I. I realize that these games are the intellectual property of Paramount, Interplay, and Viacom, but the games are at least 18 years old, abandoned by the publishers (in that post-distribution date, no updates were provided.) These instructions result in both games playing well on my Win7, 32 Bit, Quad-Core, 1GB RAM Radeon Video Card. This solution works for both Star Trek Starfleet Academy (ST SFA) and Star Trek Klingon Academy (ST KA), solving the "flashing starfield" issue as a result of modern graphics cards and will slow the computer down to make them playable on faster, new computers. I assume no responsibility for issues that may result from following these instructions (though my computers have suffered not harm), nor am I endorsing any illegal activity and am assuming that you are using legally purchased game CD’s to make this procedure work.
