An internet search returns discussions about rootkits and trojans. In Event Viewer, there are 2 strange drivers that fail to load called "wayuia" and "zlnimc" (see attached picture). I am considering installing a new hard drive (a spare) as I think it's likely a failing hard drive but I would like to rule out any malware or rootkits for now.
